Hall of Fame

For more than a century, sports have been a central part of people’s lives in Hudson County. We have sent young men and women from our community to compete at highest levels, be it the Olympics Trials, World Championship Boxing, the NFL and the NBA. Our athletes have stood out wherever they have competed, making Hudson County proud. The selection for the Hudson County Sports Hall of Fame is about more than statistics, although no one would quibble with the remarkable numbers these inductees have put up. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is also very much about the impact these remarkable people have had on the loves of those who competed with them, against them or simply rooted for them.
